Just got back from summer guiding in Alaska at Hoodoo Lodge. It was a good summer other than our King season getting closed early. We did however manage to land some really nice Kings on a few of the Bearing Sea rivers that stayed open. As usual, the chum and silver run was great and we also added Halibut fishing to the mix. Here are a few pics from the summer and more can be found on our facebook page.
It is now time for Klamath and Trinity River steelhead. It looks to be a good fall season for both salmon and steelhead with some nice fish already taking dries on the Klamath system. We will be starting our trips next week and have a very limited number of open days left in October and November for Klamath/Trinity steelheading. Stay tuned in the next few days for reports to follow.
